2nd El Alamein, October 1942.
"King Force", consisting IIRC of half a dozen Churchill Mk.III.
Then a variety of Mk.IIIs and Mk.IVs were also used in the advance across western North Africa to Tunisia after Operation Torch by the North Irish Horse.

One of my Squadron Signal books has pictures of Churchills in Tunisia which have "sand" colored vertical stripes.

How do you do that, build great models on a vertical surface? ???
I have enough trouble building mediocre ones on horizontal surfaces! :-\
