A special word for the winners: Logan & Talos (profiles/pixels) and Raafif (physical works) for the works presented.
I want to thank all the members who participate even more so because we started a bit latter than expected.
All the works presented showed the immense creativity and talent of the participants.
I want also to give a special thanks to Greg and Brian for helping me (a total newbie in this sort of things) in the starting and running of the GB.
I want also to express my satisfaction as how the GB run and sincerely hope that this becomes an annual event.
Many thanks to all and I hope you had as much fun with this GB as I did. :)
Goodbye and hope to see you all in this GB next year.
Cheers

Here, here. JP you did an outstanding job.
I for one am definitely in favour of running this one again next year with more time as well.
-
thanks for running this JP !
This is the first model I've ever submitted to a comp & I won ! :o
May I suggest next time we also run an April Fool's GB in August ?? >:D

Why August?
-
Well Done! Great models, profiles and artwork.

Why August?
any month OTHER than April would do -- but August is sufficiently removed to fool "them" that it's a mistake ;D

First of all, I want to offer a HUGE thanks to JP for running this contest. He was promoting it on a daily basis and made 2(!) of what were probably the most detailed profiles made for this event just for fun, not even entering them. JP truly is a professional. He actually sells his profiles for real live money. Talos and I are just amateurs. Good job, JP...very good.

Second, thanks to everyone else who entered. The other entries are fantastic and are always pushing us to go that extra mile on our own profiles. The He 100 was only meant to be a "simple" little project on the side. Because of the fine work you all are putting out, it has since be our most detailed profile to day. Talos and I are usually down to the wire, with me writing up the text as he's doing the last of the unit graphics for the aircraft.
Finally, thanks to all the poor chaps who accidentally checked the radio button by our name. Neither Talos or I were expecting a win on this GB and were genuinely chuffed to find out that that we had in fact won. Keep an eye out for the profiles we'll be doing for the next GB!
By the way, in the spirit of this competition, the Galland He 100 did fool someone on DeviantArt if you look down in the comments section.

Thanks again!
Cheers,

Nice one!! BTW, thanks for inviting people over here! :)

My pleasure. At least one of them so far has joined, roberdigiorge, though he's not posted, yet. He's Argentinian, and has some really fantastic work (http://roberdigiorge.deviantart.com/gallery/29081759), so should be a great addition to the upcoming GB, though you may want get a "/Malvinas" in the name. ;)
Cheers,

Good suggestion - done!

Hello
Many thanks to all for your kind words.
I must say that, although I was a bit worried as to how this was to run (as it was my first role as moderator in a GB), it was a real positive experience.
With the invaluable help of Greg and Brian and with the participation of such talented members, my work was really simplified.
Finally I hope that this became a yearly event and many more members can join and experienced the fun of doing such type of work.
To all thank you
Best regards :)
