Title: 1950's Personal Attack Helicopter
Post by: Cliffy B on November 17, 2013, 07:02:48 AM
Was rooting for info on the USN's old DASH drone from the 1960's and came across this wonderfully insane piece of concept art.

Who wants to volunteer to build one of these...."things"....  ;)

Sweet Tester!!!  That looks like "Little Nellie" redesigned by Kamox and then modified by someone who remembered "the good old days" of cavalry.

On the technical side, there's enough artistic license there to cover the entire population of LA county.

Anyone else notice the sabre/cutlass strapped to the trooper's sides?

Yes. Struck me as STRANGE and heavy and can get in your way when flying.
And,,, you beat me commenting about it.
Forget combat, plain dangerous to be flying with it.  Your mother ever tell you "don't run with scissors" ?
