This day in BS history - it's 1931 and we find the British Ministry of Supply and Pointy Things sending out the new Ruston-Bucyrus Infantry Support Charabanc to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds for its acceptance trials.




* If it wasn't a thing before it is now.

Interesting modification and it does look like the original vehicle was almost made for this feature.

And, of course, the Ruston-Bucyrus ISC would also be a grandsire of the 1939 'Nellie' trench-digger  ;)
