Operation Herrick British
« on: August 19, 2014, 10:07:00 AM »
I finally got the first lot of British moderns finished last week (wip pics in my Tank treads thread). All are straight out of the box except for the Warrior which has had a few bits n pieces added and still has a few more to go before it gets it's own photos, the armoured glass in the turret being one item left to add. For now though they're ready enough and are down in Wellington getting photographed for the next Skirmish Sangin supplement before getting packed up and sent to their new owner. All were brush painted with a mix of Humbrol enamels and GW acrylics and lined and shaded with oils. Crew figs are Airfix with a few arms modified with greenstuff to give some variety to the poses.

cheers
Brent

All they need to really set them off is a Chally 2. ;)

These two "trucks", the 4-wheeler and the 6-wheeler, reminds me strongly (especially the 4-wheeler) at the rescue-vehicle from Star Trek - Nemesis.

This is even more amazing work, considering that you brush painted them(!) and they're 1/48 (!!)
