This is a very nice looking Block 5 booster.

Are Bob and Doug in the crew Dragon?  ;)

and also all the marks left from the supports.
cheers,Robin.

Would make a neat way to model extensive shot damage on a range-wreck.

Not such a bad deal if all you spent was the cost of a couple of pints to get the parts needed.

Around 49cm tall.

First crack at something like this so really in the learning stages of how to build, paint rockets.

At least you have a nice jig to work on the project.  Hope that keeps the hands steady as you avoid further construction casualties.

I've done enough progress to post some photos.
DML Dragon Do 335 A-12. Dragon kits are a real PITA to build. You will break at least one part. Two so far.

This is the Dornier Do 350 V1 Aufklärung flugzeug. It was a late war attempt to leverage the Do 335.
The Do 350 has dedicated nose for cameras and a single Daimler-Benz DB 603F engine with contra-props

Nose is from the F2H-2P Banshee. About 1/3 was removed.
Wing extensions from a Ar 234. A nice match.
Larger tail from Me 210
Contra-prop will use bits from a Seafire MK.47

Markings will be NACA.

Thanks, Gents . . .  :-[ 8) And it only took me two attempts each to print the turret and tracks, and three for the hull . . .I find that scaling down a larger model retains the detail, whereas scaling up a smaller one coarsens what detail there is, which is usually coarse to begin with. Also, as you can see, there is no detail on the hull bottom, and also all the marks left from the supports.
cheers,Robin.

A PT6 conversion would be awesome, and a good choice. The PT6 is to turboprops what the RR Merlin was to liquid-cooled piston engines; bazillions produced, well-proven, and part supply would be easy.
