Yes, unfortunately ADV/Azimut have had a really bad reputation for years. And it's not because a buyer isn't in France, his mail order business to French customers is just as bad.

Apparently the only way to get his models, if you really want one, is for someone to walk into the store in Paris and buy a kit you've opened yourself. Or do the same at a show. Stores only buy from him in person, is how bad it's gotten. Forget after sales service if the kit is missing a part or you break something; it's non-existent.

Never, ever, send him your money.

He ranks right up there with AEF Designs and Cromwell Models for appalling customer service.
