Basically, they have one or two fire monitors (water cannon). a big tank for water/chemicals and some sprinklers for self-protection.  A dozer blade is optional.

Outside of the fUSSR/WarPac, they haven't been too successful.  They tend to be expensive in fuel and spares to operate.   Which is a common problem for many military vehicles adapted to civilian use.

I know in the US several M60s have got a second lease on life as anti-Avalanche vehicles (firing HE rounds to set off the Avalanches in the US mountains).  They used to use 105/106mm RCLs but they were too expensive in propellant and the ammunition was running out, so they changed to the MBTs, which had the advantage of being self-propelled and heated.  ;D
