LF: 1/48 Jet Pods
« on: October 03, 2020, 02:58:01 AM »
Specifically the twin-engine pods from either the inboard engines on a B-47 or the jet pods from a B-36 (assuming someone has purchased the HPH kit and can clone them).  These are intended for a RW model of a New York Central experiment with high-speed passenger trains back in the 1950's, one of these pods was mounted on top of a modified Budd RDC, cab number M497, which was also given a streamlined"shovel" nose similar to that of the Pioneer Zephyr.  I found and purchased an O-gauge model of that RDC and now I'm looking for the jet engine pod (I'll scratchbuild if I have to, but would rather not).
