Title: Hiigaran Interceptor

Here is the inspiration:

This picture was taken all the way back in 2016, I think I intended to enter it into the last sci-fi GB or scalorama GB. Anyway I'm now starting and luckily all the parts have been kept together(although I have since lost the pilot figure).

These are miscellaneous parts from gundam models and the gun is something I built for a project that didn't pan out.

Now to scrounge my bits box for further details.

And while I did think that it also looks like a Hiigaran Battlecruiser, I dont have the parts to make it look good so I settled on inteceptor.

Post by: polygon on April 20, 2020, 11:12:31 PM: Painting was interesting. Thought my airbrush was clogged, didn't want to unclog it so I opted for hand painting. Bottom went alright, but then after a botched paint on the top part I decided I had to use the airbrush, pulled it out and it turns out it wasn't clogged at all. So that leaves an ok paint job on the bottom and a nicely airbrushed top.

Anyway all that's left is minor touch ups and the cockpit and maybe a darker metallic colour on the gun.

Me too. Besides never would thought of such a build, colored lenses are another level of never would thought of it. Fine build top & bottom, is cool 8)
