Nobody, it burned up while being fitted out. The company that built it was setup by a couple
of Swedes and it was designed in concert with a naval architecture firm in New Zealand.

There was no skilled labour base so flat panel design for the all composite construction was
a given.

Apart from hating competition on trimarans, Austal also has experience in highly flammable (well actually meltable) patrol boats.

No great loss as the classes structural issues are so severe that burning to the ground (or waterline) actually makes very little difference to their capability or longevity.

Not saying Austal's political connections, rather than their performance, is what continues to get them contracts, but......
