kpnuts:
Hi all just won this on ebay(won't be starting it for a while as this covid is doing a real job on me atm)

Litvyak:
It's Jazz! :D

kpnuts:
OK so I've made a start, strangely for a Tamiya kit there are some horrid seams on the front end.

Nothing is glued in the front yet, I've masked the inside of the fuel tank and tried to replicate some fuel in there.

I won't be gluing the oil tank cage in until I've finished the tank (I remember that from the Vaillant build)

kpnuts:
OK so as you can see I'm not building this as a showroom car but rather as one that has just finished a race.

Not really surprising as this kit is from the 1970s !  Mine, purchased in the 1980s, had all the same.

WARNING :-- beware of the rubber hoses to the brake calipers (feeds air to cool the brakes) - they melt the styrene plastic.  The rubber tires seemed ok though.

The semi-transparent fuel boxes etc were a nice touch.
