First coat of Tamiya X-1 black, looks a little rough but I'll work on it. And no, this colour is not a base coat for silver.

It reminds me of the Lockheed CL-1200 Lancer proposal to replace the F-104 Starfighter in some ways, the larger tail not so much but the high-mounted wing definitely.

A two-seat Sabre in 1/48th scale would be nice to see some day.  The only one that I have knowledge of went out of business/production years ago but maybe some day soon...

I have a 1/48 Fox 3 Studios TF-86 Conversion in the stash

I eMailed Gerry Asher/FOX 3 Studios fourteen years ago (2012) and was informed that they are now OOP with no current plans to bring it back into production and nothing further has come from that correspondence.

Scale-O-Rama.  Mate the 1/35th scale SCUD TEL with the 1/72nd scale SS-20 Sabre missile container and it might be an easy what-if.
