This ac is imo so dull that there is a lot of room to improve it. Lets try reengining

I have one that is going to get a pair of underwing 40mm Bofors guns as a tank/boat buster in the pacific...

Interesting fact:  small batches of RAAF Vultee Vengeances were allocated and issued to the RAN FAA at Nowra for use as Fire Fighting Training Aids in the late '40s/early '50s.  Now whatif, they're used earlier as a carrier based aircraft by the RAN?
