Heller 1/400 Jeanne d Arc (81034)
« on: December 27, 2020, 04:34:18 AM »
This is my Heller 1/400 Jeanne d Arc (81034). It was a strictly OOB build with no aftermarket stuff, no etch, no rigging and consequently no stress!

Very nice work, especially for an OOB build!

Still, the question needs to asked, how did you manage to fight the urge to not apply a bit of what-if to the project?

Thanks, Jeffry.

It was extremely difficult to stick to my rules and I even managed to slip up once and add three pieces of thread rigging! Actually, the Jeanne d'Arc looks like it could be a great candidate for a "what-if". I have a 1/1200 scale one in my stash so perhaps one day I could let my imagination run riot.

1:200 scale eh?  That would certainly be a hand full and easier on the eyes while building it.  At that size/scale it would certainly be a lot less eye strain.

No, it is 1/1200 which is three times smaller than the build above. Now, that will be bit of an eye strain!

Blame it on eyesight.

Stress free! How the hobby is meant to be!

So. why do I end up nearly bald after every build? ???

Great job, Dave! 8)

Nice work.

A 1/350 one would be nice too.

Beautiful!!  If it was in 1/350, I would be tempted to do a subtle whif using French V-22s .
