Not to hijack this thread but I've got a question for you Evan, it's well known that the radiator duct on a P-51/F-82 was very efficient, and depending what book you read, so was the leading edge radiator concept.
In your opinion, which one do you think is the best.
BTW, on my Twin Spitfire I went with leading edge radiators, only the engine coolant one is along the whole wing center section, with the oil cooler radiators out board the fuselages. I did it this way after I worked out the opening area of a standard Spitfire radiator and found I needed quite a long leading edge one.
