Douglas A-4 Skyhawk Ideas and Inspiration
Jeffry Fontaine:
Video showing USMC ground crew safety and handling procedures for loading a nuclear device (in this case, a B61 shape) on an A-4M Skyhawk:
YouTUbe > What You Haven't Seen YouTube Channel > Nuclear Weapons Loading Procedures (1976)
The music is a bit reminiscent of the times and from what can be seen of the terrain in the video I believe this was filmed at MCAS el Toro, California.

What if AUstralia had bought a version of the earlier, J65-powered, A-4s and adapted them more to Australian equipment, Avon replacing the Sapphire-based J65 and ADEN cannons replacing the 20mm Colt Cannons? This would allow a major upgrade later, with a SLEP, to the same F404-powered version that Singapore has.

Maybe a joint development with the UK, Canada, India and New Zealand. Maybe add in a Laser Ranging and Marked Targeting System (LRMTS) in a pod under the nose in addition to the AN/APG-53 radar. Later on, as part of the upgrade to include the F404, also add in the AN/APG-66 radar and other Project Kahu upgrades.

I like the way you think!! 8)
