You are on a roll with these helicopter builds.  Nice to see the Academy kit getting some love and attention in a bright colour scheme.

That is a nice build . . .
Drifting OT, but thinking of slim Lightnings, and I'm sure it's been done already, but how about Lightning flying surfaces on a Vought Crusader fuselage . . . ?

cheers,
Robin.

Thanks guys

Pertime :- I use a small photobooth with LED striplights and my mobile phone to take the pictures. The silver finish is flat  aluminium with matt varnish finish so it will appear a little drab, for silver.  ;)

Thinks :- aargh !   I could have mild whiffed it with chrome silver and really made it shiny ahhh the joys of 20/20 hindsight  :icon_zombie: ;D

... You should (without the need to do any research) know that the EE slim fuselage Lightning project was the P.6 . . .   ;)

Maybe "should" but didn't  :icon_surprised:

But I now see that Dizzyfugu has built it -- adding Frog Lightning F.6 bits to a Su-17 kit. Clever!

Without doing any further research, I noted one erroneous, non-whif Dizzy' factoid. The RB.106 never had a "later career as the Canadian Orenda Iroquois". Those two engine types were rival candidates (amongst others) for the Avro Canada C.104 and C.105. Of course, that takes nothing away from the awesomeness of his build

Patria 155K98 on Sisu ETP brochure stuff ... and an earlier SP foray on the T-55 hull.
