Fw190 Airfix 1/72
« on: August 14, 2021, 01:36:11 PM »
It's been a looong while since I finished one, but I've finally managed. An Airfix 1/72 Fx190 "semi-whiff" - only because I didn't have the right paints and used whatever was at hand. Painted with hairy stick, and put on a stand like I used to do when I was a kid.

Ciao

A paint whif is still a whif!

Big question is: Did you have fun, like you did as a kid? ;)

First one slapped together 1964, 1977 tried again with Binks Wren airbrush & hand painted "wave mirror" monstrosity, may had built third sometime before 1990, several others in on-off stock never got around to building any. Airfix kit first post-WWII 1/72nd plastic-injected Dora, 1976 Hasegawa A23/JS-105 & 1980 Italeri 128 far superior, built these as well, soft spot still for the Airfix, time machine needs to be fired up...
