1/48 Tamiya kit.

Pix to follow.  Cockpit solidly under way with pre-painting.   Panel lines pre-shaded.   Let's put it this way, I'm not a fan of pre-shading.   ;D

Edit:   Again, the build is to be largely OOB although the outer pylons may be modified to become AIM-9 capable.    And the goal is to have it ready to show in Seattle this April.     The secondary goal is to have some modeling enthusiast look at it and say to themselves 'I didn't know the (insert country or ethnicity here) flew Skyrays!"    ;D

Brian, this and the Draken have priority.

It's going to be two weekends from today (27 Feb) before I'll have the chance to get my hobby nook back in order as we are hosting guests so there won't be any updates before then.     But once under way, my Facebook time and time on HS/ArcAir/BM/etc is going to tank.

And I do believe all paint is purchased.   Tamiya acrylic, Windsor and Newton oils, and airbrushable dullcoat.    Green and gray over lighter gray based on Tamiya XF-80,81,82 although they likely will be darkened some, Royal Norwegian Air Force.   Uffda ja!

It looks like you've made some very good progress, Dr Daryl!

Dr Daryl's Draken...has a nice ring to it.

That cockpit tub looks great. I love the look of airbrushed cockpits
