I have warned you before not to draw stuff you don't want to see built >:D

Thanks y'all. I think this will be the perfect complement to the GTX-24 as featured in the sites banner. (Hope our glorious leader don't get jealous ;D)
Frankly, even after doing the Hellcat/Typhoon bash it never occurred to me to give the same Vulture 24 cylinder x engine treatment to a Corsair.
Just another reason Profilers are so important to our hobby. :-*

Nice start!  Hope it goes smoothly with the build and your PSR is kept to a minimum :)

I just love the added wing cannons. You can never have too much firepower.

I think she is lookin pretty and can't wait to get her into primer. Tomorrow I have to move again, 13-15 hours depending on snow. Hopefully Sunday or Monday I will get to add the 24 exhaust stacks which will make her look even more sweet :)

Did you say 24 exhaust stacks?

Yowsa! This baby is really built for speed!

Wishing you safe travels and a speedy next update,

Thanks all y'all :-* Well there will be no primer today >:D I bought some but I also found a nifty hobby shop with some cool accessories and changes must be made... :))
When the F4-A was first issued many of the pilots complained of a lack of firepower ??? Apparantly 920 rounds from 4 1inch cannon was lacking ::)
The pilots specifically pointed out that the GTX-24 had the same cannons but also had nose guns . The reluctant engineers went back and added the requisite interrupter gear and not 2 .60 calibers but 4 34-40 machine guns with 250 rounds per gun. ;)
Most pilots immediately began going into combat with the wing cannons switched off and fighting air to air against other fighters with just the nose guns. They claimed to use the cannon for bombers, ground attack and "emergencies"

Cool!  sometimes I don't know why you don't skip the kit and just do all your work with putty.  ;D
Like the new guns.  :)
