RQ-19A Pre-Flight Diorama - DONE! - pic's pg.1

So, I'm currently working on finishing the diorama for this;



Sub assemblies have been built & painted with primer. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get some airbrush time in to start the primary colours & base coats.

I have another crew member & a slightly modified HobbyBoss LandRover 110 Defender Hardtop to put onto the very basic diorama base.

I doubt this is going to go quickly, too much fiddly paintwork to do on internal bits. ::)

Finally getting near the finish line! :D

This thing has been delaying the start of my Blue Lights GB build over on WIM because it's running behind schedule (When don't they? ???) but the Land Rover has, at last, got its camo paint!





Hopefully not much longer, now! :smiley:

I'm more concerned about the Landy looking about right as an Australian Army Aviation Corps (AAAvn) vehicle.

Not perfect but reasonable; it is from a British Land Rover, after all, & I couldn't be bothered with the conversion sets for what are, in reality, very minor mod's (externally, at least).

FINALLY! I've finished & taken photo's (I hope they're OK). :D

I'll go through them & post later today, when the wife finishes working from the study.

OK, that's it! Not all the photo's but most of them (only repeats & not so good images left out).


I know the build thread has been ... iffy, at best, but I hope you enjoy the finished product.
