Truth be told Greg secretly wanted to be a FAA engineer working with Harriers on the STOVL carrier HMAS Australia, not a RAAF one stuck at air bases, nicer uniforms and all that  ;)

I would even have stayed in under those circumstances, although transferring away from the Grumblies would have been a wrench. :smiley: :(

Anyway, I now have a 1/48 SuE & a 2000C on their way from different parts of the world to enlist in the 1980's-1990's RAN FAA & RAAF, respectively. ;)

-various 1/72 TinTin aircraft

I know it's undoubtedly been said before, but what about a Mirage 2000 with the canards of the Mirage 4000 incorporated, so as to improve its maneuverability.....
