Hi guys
In my path towards 3D printing heaven, one more experiment :)
This time a classical arcade games console. Simple.
The result of the 3D printing, after some hard sanding work (the PLA is a tough mean son of a gun to sand :) ), was like this:

Since I had no human figure to give the scene some sense of dimensions, I used manīs best friend. :)
Scale should be something around 1/24 though.
And the working proceeded with some pin-heads and minor scratch...

And here is the final result:

With the traditional little coin

And that was pretty much it! A "fast and furious" weekend vignette.
I wonder what 3D Santa will bring me next week....
Thanks for stopping by!

Now for something completely different. Dunno how you do it.

Here, take my quarters ....

Cool! 8)
However, to me, it looks to be set up for left-handers. I, being profoundly right-handed, would find that rather difficult to operate. :icon_crap:

Looking good.

Cute! It almost looks like the dog is ready to indicate his opinion of his master's spending so much time on that game.
-
That looks brilliant!
Only thing I would say is that those controllers look much more like the ones for a fighting game than a driving game. But hey, that's just my 25 cents.

Just flip the photo around, then left will be right!
Nice work!

Excellent! Love the concept and your build :-*

Classic long-suffering dog pose: "I was promised 'walkies' ... but its just this beeping-machine again. Ya can't eat it, it has no interesting smells. Sheesh, what's the attraction!"

No, that is indeed a standard arcade set up. Stick on the left with six buttons on the right.

Looks really cool. All that's missing is the big game graphics on the sides of the console.

Very Cool

I purchased several of these gaming consoles with the intention of converting the things in to a sensor station for a helicopter or some other platform. The maker that I ordered my 3D models from via ShapeWays also joined our forums.

Love it !
