I like it but it would be better if the grey dust was only on the upper surfaces, where it would have settled, with the rest of the P-40 in whatever Earthly scheme the builder found appropriate. 8)

I'mnot sure if it fits here or not, but there's a party putting videos on YouTube looking at various sf and fantasy works as if done in the 1920's.  He's got some fascinating work.

What I like about it is the chiaroscuro paint job, good way to salvage an old build that's beyond refinishing.

Rummaging thru my half-built stash I came across this .....

I love the old SF3D kits & have a Fledermaus (which I'm modifying with two rear engines).  As I couldn't get one at first, I scored a spare cockpit from a guy in the US to mate with a Hornisse but then I decided to use it to make a model of a prototype cockpit mock-up.  I've added a belly-tank from a 124th motorcycle & used the rocket pods from a DML 1/35 MD-500.

I really should get back onto it ....

SF3D (or Maschinen Kreiger, Ma.K as it is styled these days) has some wonderful designs-I haven't seen  Fledermaus in ages. Looks like it will eb a fun build. I think the missile pods from the old Academy 1/48 MD 500 were used as the laser-equipped forearms on one of the early suits, just as the fuselage of the same was used for the main body. I look forward to seeing your progress.
