Well on Tuesday morning when you open the hanger doors you will find a brand new F-80E Fire Shooter in Belgian Air force markings and two happy parents. Isn't she a big booty cutie?

Oh man this is the funniest thing I've seen all day! Love it!
That's an absolutely inspired kitbash and incredibly easy on the eyes to boot! In those cool, colorful Belgian markings, it's hotter than Janet Leigh!
I'm really impressed by your work on the exhaust. Did you get that by dry-brushing? Not only do you have enviable talent, but you've got a real feel for those early jets!
Brian da Basher
P.S. Sometimes, it's like we're on a wavelength. I've got an F-94 in the stash. I plan to chop the nose, graft on one from a P-38 and add a single-seat canopy. I'll be well pleased if mine is even half as nice as yours.

Very nice ... and great choice on the markings! :)

I agree with what was said above, great job Carl,I like it ! :)

Oh my! Quite a nice looking kit-bash you have managed to create from those two kits.

8) WOW, this does for the F80 series what the F86D did for the Sabre series, looks wise. Very believable, marvelous work. :-*
-
Beautiful job of blending and finishing.

She's a beauty! :-*
And then I started thinking that with that afterburner but without added weight of radar and second crewmember, she's going to reach the critical Mach number very quickly, and it's a good thing you included the larger droptanks so that the flight time would be longer than five minutes... :P

looks just perfect :)
-
Ha! ;D nice! Good use of pictures too or I would not have seen the differences as clearly (not an expert on a lot of 1950's stuff)
:-*
-
Man, i just love a big rear end... ;) Great work! :)
-
Zactly what Lockheed should have done.
Being a 50s-60s fan, love this F-80E :-*

Looks great! It makes me think of that Classical musical piece, "Baby got Back"
