 Not the undead - although moderately useful, they aren't cost effective in the long term. Mutant farm animals (Chickens, mainly) are far
 more useful overall. You do have to avoid raising them too far into sentience - one day you've given them thumbs, the next they're demanding maternity leave and paid vacations. (It's the apocalypse. Where do they think they're going to go?)

As inspiration it works terrific and as you all say in the thread, right on topic.
I have to say though that it was stated in was built 10 years ago, so as it stands, maybe a bit out of the spirit of things they way I see.
Now.. if he wanted to add to it, redo some of it.. different matter.
