Now you can build the McGregor joke!

"You see that dock out there? Built it myself, hand crafted each piece, and it's the best dock in town! But do they call me "McGregor the dock builder"? No!
And you see that bridge over there? I built that, took me two months, through rain, sleet and scoarching weather, but do they call me "McGregor the bridge builder"? No!
And you see that pier over there, I built that, best pier in the county! But do they call me "McGregor the pier builder"? No!" "

"Traktorgrenadiere" ist awesome!  ;D

"Herr Leutnant, I'm not sure zis is vat I had in mind ven I joined ze Motorised Infantry."

"You know, Heinz, I should nicht complain to you because of der Befehlskette, but I vill say dieser Etappenmütterficker* in Procurement that know nozink of our job vill be our downfall. Ve specifically requested neue Hanomags. Procurement said, vell, ve hav no Hanomags available, but maybe ein Lanz vill do just as fein."

"Hanomag" is a colloquial name for the Sd.Kfz. 251 half-track, but actually the name of the company that produced the half-tracks (or parts thereof, AFAIK) that is also famous for their agricultural tractors (just like Lanz).

* Etappe being the rear-eachelon and der Rest is....vell, you probably get it just fein.

Just sounding out the words "rear-eachelon" usually has the mind filling in the rest accurately  ;)

Maybe a Japanese post war 3-wheeler where the rear wheels were driven by the engine, but the the engine on the Tempo was mounted on the front wheel and it was a direct drive. The rear wheels were unpowered... so it would have been a very, very slow 2/3 track.
