This will need a little work because cockpit area in F-111 is broader than in F-4, but I think it is a good starting point.

Some wild stuff here!

I always liked the idea of a fixed wing Tomcat. I did some sketches of one many years ago using an A-5 Vigilante forward fuselage and wings.

And THAT fixed wing model is what made me like the idea of a fixed wing Tomcat with Vigilante type wings. :)

Not to threadjack, but was there also not a model of the Tomcat with a single vertical tail fin too?
