Finally cleared this off thew shelf after about a year or so.  Tamiya Stegosaurus.

That's got a fantastic "Land of the Lost" quality to it that just takes me back.

I especially like your work on those scary looking dorsal plates.

Dang good.  :smiley:      Dark in skin folds really enhances appearance.

Looks nearly like the one we saw among trees out behind my uncle's cabin in the 60s.

Great stuff  :smiley:  These are fun kits to paint (I remember doing Tamiya's Triceroptops).

Needs a "hunter" figure armed with an anti-tank rifle.  Maybe on the ground and trampled?  :smiley:

The newer Tamiya moulding is a big improvement over the one I did! With a little creativity, PSR, etc., the newer Tamiya kit could also be reconfigured as Centrosaurus or one of the other ceratopsians.
