Is that 12 props and four jets? Pity that a single .50 cal bullet would make it go up in flames (it seems to be the fate of all Japanese aircraft)

Someone created a model of that for a War Thunder game mod and apparently forgot to put the jet engines on it.  It is huge to be sure and impressive to see in game flying around.

Apparently, it was to get 12 turboprops and four jets --- although the turboprops were only about 1900 hp. IMHO, that would be more underpowered than the Hughes HK-1

That almost sounds like Star Trek fanboys who add four warp nacelles, multiple photon torpedo and phaser turrets to their starship designs.
