Wow, that is just astonishingly cool ... and beautifully executed

... even if there is no trace of an aircraft there ...

It still looks as if it could fly, though!

a top fuselage of a Do-24 remained from previous endeavours ... and I had a whale on my stash, as it can happen, so :

Love it  :-*  If only Greenpeace had thought of kitting out whales with gun turrets!

A tricycle-geared Otter whiffed from a Twin Otter?  that's a gorgeous model, there.

Looked at Twin Otter pictures.  Smooth transition to single engine.  Appears to be stock build.

Excellent concept and a most-convincing build!

There was a RW proposal for an Otter with tricycle gear. Back in the early 2000s, Beaver Aircraft Canada proposed new-build Otters in at least two variants. Their taildragger Turbo Otter concept looked pretty much like it any PT6 Otter conversion. But the Super Otter was a different sort of beast. It would basically have been a Twin Otter with a Soloy Dual-Pac (twin PT6A-112s) in the nose driving contra-props.

I'm not sure what happened to BAC. Circa 2003, BAC bought Viking Air ... so perhaps BAC still exists somewhere within Viking's DNA?

The An-2 Colt has been subject to various experiments, like the following :

so here is another one (with Crusader wings, as well as Harrier T4, to keep it a biplane, of course)

Now that has character!!  Definitely a high-speed" biplane (if that's not an oxy-moron).

I read colt and crusader and thought of a knight on a young horse!
Nice work!

*snicker* My first thought was of a knight with a brace of revolvers rather than a sword.
