According to scalemodels.ru (LINK), AFV Club's next winged subject will be a 1/48 AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo!

Pity it's the wrong scale.  Still waiting on an accurate 1/72 one.  :(

If I was doing a whif air force, it would go well with Macchi 346 trainers since the F124 engines in the trainers are dry versions of the F125 engines in this one.  If one wanted one of these for spare parts, I'd combine the engines with a Falcon 10  airframe (off the top of my head, I believe it was a Falcon 10 and not a Falcon 20) to model the testbed that Garrett AiResearch (now Honeywell) used for them.

True! A pity, really, as I would like to try my hand at one of these (found by "dy031101"):

One of those fuselages would look good with F-16XL wings.....

Be better off using the wings from a YF-22 or F-22, I'd reckon.

Something that will make some folks more excited than others is the announcement from AFV Club for the Norwegian Army NM-116 version of the M24 Chaffee (kit number AF35S82)

another part of Hobby Fan / AFV Club.  They have announced two Yugoslav tanks - M3 Stuart mounting a German quad-flak & same mounting the Pak-40.  Also a truck with two Drilling (triple MG) mounts.  All plastic by the looks.

Looking forward to the 6 pounder.
Not looking forward to the gazillion parts it will come with.
Somehow the 9 part Tamiya jobbie sometimes does not look that bad.

Loving the Matador, Something to pull my newly acquired Accurate Armour 5.5inch gun... so you folks can have an injection version.

I suspect a 5.5in will not be far behind the Matador (pun intended).

True.  I looked at it and whilst part of me was very interested, the rest struggled to come up with an application.
