Very nice!!  I wonder how much a change to a Merlin would affect the front end?

The Merlin might be a bit small? Even the 36.70L Griffon was something of a tiddler compared with Mikulin's 46.66L AM-38.

Go "whole hog" with a W3420?  Or possibly a Fairey Prince?

I like it :)  How about a Fairey Monarch? 2,240 hp out of a 51.08 L H-24. Or, backdating a bit, a Rolls-Royce Vulture (potentially 1,750 hp out of a 42L X-24)?
