Flying Legends has a history of powerful Spitfire opening sequences, and 2014 was no exception. This year saw 11 Spitfires involved, representing almost the full lineage – Mk.I to Mk.XVIII in this instance – that involved a massed formation flypast, a Mk.I quartet and a traditional big tail-chase.

The KC-46A Pegasus development program completed its first flight of Engineering, Manufacturing and Development (EMD) aircraft #1 Dec. 28, 2014. The maiden flight took off from Paine Field in Everett, Washington and landed at Boeing Field, Seattle.
