Update:

final assembly is done, the decals on the upper fuselage and tail are applied and have been sealed off with clear.
a couple of hours from now, the coat will be dry and then i can start on the bottom of the aircraft.

should be finished by tonight, just in time  8)

pics of the completed model later tonight...

it was a close call, but its finished  8)
i was planning to write a little backstory with it, but unfortunatly i cound not come up with anything  ::)

Certainly is a model with lots of whiffer potential there

Agree on color scheme.  Wouldn't thought of it.  Works well.  :)
Wheel well & bomb bay color works well too.
Using bottom color between main top colors is neat technique.  :)

Looking good.  I like this paint job. It would work well over the spring/early summer north European landscape.
