Here's hoping that Meng will consider producing some of the WW2 era US prototype tanks like the T20-22-23, T25, T14 and the T28/95 super heavy in 1/35 scale. The Tortoise gives me hope for some Allied whiffery to counter all the paper panzers we've seen in recent years.
And post WW II era prototypes, too.  I'd love a good 1/35 T92 kit.

This kit is the first in their "Tyrannosaurus" range -- Meng state that they intend to become the world-leader of model kits with quality & subject matter (ie they will knock Tamiya out) -- so we may see other super-Tanks.

Moulding & fit of this kit is Tamiya standard and subject matter is streets ahead of anything Tamiya have done.

I am giving up listing them. They all end up on the shelf of procrastination anyways.

I love that bit on the box: "Modeling skills helpful if under 14 years of age"

I guess this means us old guys who are ham-handed and lack any modeling skills whatsoever should be ok...

That's quite ballsy of them to call that a review, given that they just regurgitated the info and pics from the Meng website (LINK). Ad verbatim.

I have not visited the Meng website for the last few weeks so I was unaware they had finally added some content.

I hope they will offer the F-101 and F-106 at some time in the future.

And yes, this is a nasty bit of plagiarism.

^ Hey, no problem. Wasn't aimed at you in person.  :)

Totally hearin' ya on the F-101 and F-106. They'd be awesome follow-ups to this. Ah, a new-tool F-101A, with the provision for a RF-101C, that'd be something.
Cheers,
Moritz

The -101 and -106 are the only century fighters which have not been re-tooled to a 90's or 00's state of quality.

For me personally, I'd like to see the F-101A and C, the CF-101B and F, the one off EF-101B, the RF-101A, C,  G, H and finally the RF-101B. Just a small shelf is needed for display.  ;D
