Strange, as I recall seeing the same images you described but they are not where you would expect to find them as I did my due diligence and did a search of all the forums/sub-forms and came up with nothing.   :icon_sueno:

I thought it may even be on Secret Projects but NO.  Looks like its gone so I've done a crude rendition.

Just a slap-stick idea - English Electric Valkyrie.  Four-engine heavy bomber.  Slap together two Lightning fuselages side by side.  Use scaleorama Vulcan wings, find a suitable scaleorama cockpit (maybe also from the Vulcan?).  Here's a slapped-together sketch...

After stretching the stretched Tornado I can’t help thinking what if I bought two Lightning kits and cut them in not quite half. Then I could build a stretch Lightning and a shorty.
