All in all, it is coming along nicely on what is a rare bird.
that scheme is tight and the decals looks great so far.

Transparency masking can be problematic. I have been there with what you have, so these days (on the extremely rare occasion, that I do aircraft) I do not prime the canopy area if possible, just a couple of fine(ish) top coats to minimize the layering effect. The other effect of this is that the interior view of the framing is not primer colour.

Quite a build indeed
Just the windows are project of their own.  Nose, tail, turret removal, paint are done so well

Thanks for the comments chaps

Buzz :- good advice, makes sense. I generally hand paint my canopies but on the complicated ones I mask. This one didn't quite goto plan. Won't be priming canopies any more ( except dayglo orange, but that's another story  ::))

Hi all

Progress is glacial at the moment, but i have made some advances.

All the touching up and repair work is done.

Did my best on the main canopy it looks passable,  unfortunately some dust got into the fuselage and ended up stuck to the inside of the canopy, hopefully over time it will lose it's static charge and drop inside.

The exhaust collector rings were originally  painted a nice copper colour which I was going to leave to upset some JMN's but relented and toned it down with some metallic gray.

All the transparencies are now in place just the undercarriage, aerials and props to fit.

Thanks for looking....
