1/48 HAL HF-24 Marut...even a Vacuform would be acceptable!

Blast from the past! YES!!! I have been screaming from the rooftops about this for about 20 years. Gorgeous aircraft, and terribly overlooked. The whiffing possibilities are enormous, and being a Kurt Tank design it would even appeal to the Luft '46 crowd. There are probably enough modelers in India alone to make it profitable. At my request, Fantasy Kit World on facebook did one up for me a few years ago.

The Marut would be cool!
C-27 early or late model. Coast Guard or Canadian SAR.
Of course I’m a 1/72nd scale guy.
Too many others to mention as long as it’s something actually new and different.

That kit has been available since 2010.  Links for Italeri and ScaleMates:

I have one in protective custody that I would be happy to part with for the right price.

I think it should be called the "Sky Dragster".  Has anyone determined what the range is? 10 KM, 20?

Interesting article in a recent Air-Britain Aviation World issue about Fire Tractor training program down in the USA. Photos showed eight down there, one being a two seater.

I unfortunately spent way too much time (and money) at Hannants.

Their Future Releases page has over 2,600 items listed in all scales.

I am seeing a trend (at least in 1/72 aircraft) of many re-releases. So this is a good place to check first before you go to your resale vendor(s). And they do offer 10% off on some backorders.

Welch Models has three boxings. But it is GBP 121-123. So it's a pass for me.
