How about a RNZAF one?  I know that for many years the RNZAF wanted C-17s but by the time they finally decided to try to purchase there was only a single example available (they wanted at least 2).  In the real world they eventually purchased C-130Js.  what if they decided to go with a couple of A400Ms instead...in this scheme:

That was certainly discussed in Canada 20-odd years ago (both as a C-17A alternative and as a CC-130E replacement).

-  AEW version with SAAB "balance beam" radar.
-  USAF version with fkyig boom receptacle replacing the probe (or in addition tothe probe)
-  Tanker version fitted out to refuel multiple aircraft at one using multiple drogue units, including one o the aft ramp
-   Gunship version
-   Fire bomber using something siilar to the r-o/r-o system used by C-130's  (If a DC-10 can be converted to a fire bomber, an 400M can be)
--  Purchase tech from Shin Meiwa for a flying boat version
-  USAF version in Euro One camo scheme
-  USAF version in retro SEA scheme
-  RAF or USAF version in Middle eastern scheme.

Nice! I could also see her with some temporary patches of washable white in that landscape

[Edit: I only just noticed that you'd gone back to pre-unification RCAF roundels too! Clever  :D]
