I wanted something different than the prototype livery.

An old photo of a Blackburn Beverly was my inspiration. I think the Rotodyne would have been a workhorse in RAF service in the Middle East back when the Beatles were in their heyday.
Mine is in markings of 18 Squadron, RAF.

Construction is almost OOB. I used salvaged Airfix C-130 propellers because they looked beefier than the kit items.

The model is brush-painted with Humbrol and Testors enamels.

Sparesbox decals were used.

I like this beast in warpaint. It was a fun build.
