1/144 CF-188E Super Hornet
« on: July 23, 2014, 04:50:45 AM »
finished this one a few days ago, but just took pictures earlier today  8)
this is a Royal Canadian Air Force version of the Super Hornet, the CF-188E.

the kit is a Revell 1/144 F/A-18E Super Hornet, but i had to use a second F-18 kit as source for the 3rd droptank and 2 additional AMRAAMs. decals are a combination of the kit (stenciling) and homemade (markings, fake canopy on the bottom & serials)

on the bench:
-various models

on the drawing board:
-various 1/72 TinTin aircraft
-1/72 Eurocopter Tiger (Belgian Army)
-various other 1/72 and 1/144 aircraft

Gorgeous! And a nice touch including the CF18 fuselage-side ID light, Nils
