Schneider Grand Prix Racing Seaplane
« on: October 16, 2012, 05:40:00 AM »
What If?  After WW2, instead of taking up with Motor Racing, the Schneider Cup was re-invented as a globe travelling racing series, open to national teams, works teams, and private teams / individuals?

Here I present the Hawker SeaWind, Williams Aero-Racing 1968 contenderfor the championship, powered by the awesome triple row, 27 cylinder Napier Excelsior Turbo-Compound Thermojet engine....

That's very cool, deathjester! I really like your modifications, especially the sleek prop spinner and under-wing floats that make this baby look built for speed!

Love it! The SeaWind's stabilizer floats are retractable?
