Very nice

Your enlarged turret is a vast improvement on the S35's APX 1 CE. But the new turret really does keep the feel of the original!

I'm curious ... what was the source of the suspension, sprockets, etc.? (The roadwheels remind me of a PzKw IV.)

Good to see that you've gone with a ground version of the Mitrailleuse d'Avion Browning. On the original artwork, the AI seems to have conflated that 13.2 FN with the box-magazined Hotchkiss M1929   ;D

Hopefully, all of the detail you are including will distract those knee gremlins

Thanks mate.

The wheels the AI selected look like they were selected from a Panzer III but when I scaled the whole thing, they were too big.  However, a spare set I had from a Panzer IV were perfect as were the tracks.  The suspension arms and the torsion bar housings are home grown, the drive sprockets were from the spares box - a Leopard I I think - but very heavily rebuilt, and the idlers are from a Panther.

You’re right the AI was obviously having machine gun envy issues when it came up with that magazine fed monstrosity so I wisely decided to keep it tea and go with a standard HMG.

Knee gremlins currently on vacation!

Thanks mate.  The idlers came from the spares box as a single item - pretty sure they used to belong to a Panther.

Belgian T38 'Ambiorix' Update:

...and once again, the simple application of a coat of primer makes all the difference and, hopefully, shows off the T38 Ambiorix (as it is now officially called) as a unified vehicle for the first time.

To mark this auspicious occasion and to give a little bit in the way of scale perspective, I hand over to The Stig from Top Gear and his little furry companion who some say is Verne Troyer's werewolf doppelganger or that his breath is so fetid that it can melt plastic... All we know is, he's called The Stiglet!
