Title: 1/32 Sopwith Camel (Australian Flying Corp)
Post by: Camthalion on March 16, 2020, 07:17:19 AM
I count my modelling year from our local show in February, so this counts as my first for the year.  Academy 1/32 Sopwith Camel, painted up as an Australian Flying Corp machine.

That's magnificent, Cam and the rigging is exquisite!

Your Camel checks all the boxes for this iconic type and then some.

Quite the tour d'force!

Thanks Brian.  Between being out of town and the changing of the roster at work its taken a while this one.

That Camel looks great! Is that an Academy or Wingnut kit?

That's brilliant, mate! Love it! 8)

BrisFit & the Camel are my favourite WW1 fighters.

Both for the same reason, they were cutting edge when they entered service but continued to perform well against (supposedly) better fighters as the war went on.

Nice job, inspiring.
I am currently into my first Wingnut Wings, which incidentely is also a Camel.

I'd love a wingnut wings one, but the academy was so much cheaper.
