Actually, a small side road off the E18 Highway, north of Stockholm.

A minor road leads to a tunnel off the main highway.  Nothing that unusual about that - unless, perhaps, an observer spent some time watching the road/tunnel, and noticed very little vehicular traffic.

The base/tunnel was built using framers foamcore, cardboard and packing foam:

I didn't want to follow the original image too closely (didn't want to cut the fin for example!).

That's really great and I don't recall seeing anyone build one of those"highway fighter" dioramas before!

I really like the colorful foliage and your nice take on that classic Swedish scheme.

Diorama is fine generic representation of shelters.
