The TSR2 story has many versions, so I will not write another whole family here. Suffice to say, Table top productions presents, The Vincent FGR 7.
Trying to hide at least some of the TSR 2 programme, A V name was revived from the 1930s to go make a forth V bomber (unofficial).
Here is the Canberra PR 9 replacement, 15 rebuilt FGA 5 models were created when it was realised that parts of the Canberra's were going to run out of life etc. 64 Sqn was revived to fly them.
The canards agitate the airflow to give better lift, allowing over 60'000 feet to be reached, although maneuverability at that height was not as good as the Canberra.
Low level was the forte of the FGA 7 and it was at least as hot as an F4 with fully slatted tail planes, faster and with an incredible choice of loads.
Oh and, yes, the drop tanks are from the lightning, what else?

Thanks to the foresight of the air force, 64 Sqn was up and running with the first five aircraft before the last Canberra was signed off, and continues to operate ten, with the remaining five in flyable storage.

What's the pod underneath?
Oh, and I thought that in here "obligatory" was something asymmetric twin boomer with lenghtened fabric-covered wings, contraprops, and spats ;D

I like it with canard 'improvement', thanks! ;)

This has spats when the wheels are down, honest :)
If memory serves, the pod is the KKR-1 from a Sukhoi Su 17/22, naturally a soviet copy of a British pod, the British Underside Recce Pod, or BURP for short).
Thanks for the comments troops, I may even show you the lesser FGA 5 sometime. Glad you like it.

That's very nice indeed. The canards are an excellent touch!
