X-32 was finished!
It's a Italeri set in Tamiya box in 1/72.
Painted mainly with Tamiya paints and weathered with Tamiya paneliners and pigments. Decals are mix from spare box: F-14, X-32,Mi-24 & Mig-23 :)
That's how hypothetical, smiling, visible on photos F-32 was created :)

Wicked! One of the best looking X-32s I have seen.

Excellent! Nice weathering too.

Seriously cool Whiff 8) 8) You've given it 'life', very well done :) :)
Pity the F-35 politically won the competition and we'll never see a real in service F-32 :( :(

This is the first time I recall seeing a "Monica" with a shark's mouth, now that's truly inspired!
I can only tip my hat to such whip--smart creativity!
Well done!

Thanks. It looked too big to be 1/72.

Nice.
So the X-32 was "asymmetrical" in that it only had weapons bay on the starboard side and "productionized" version would have had symmetrical weapon bays, but where would the gun have been? Certainly not where the long port side scoop is on the proto, since the port weapons bay would go there, so top of the wing root like F-35?
