Wonder what kind of showing F11F would have made mixing with Migs in SEA.
Seen them flying in 1960s.
Thanks for posting super photo.

RN Tigers flying off semi-modernised armoured fleet carriers.

Stretch the fuselage length through the midsection.
Just becasue.

J-79 engined (two prototypes built)
Avon engined (proposed to Germany)
Two-seater (proposed)
RN version: Avon engine, 2 x ADEN in place of 20mm, Red Tops and 2" RPs, AI.23 radar.
Aeronavale version: ATAR engine, 2 x DEFA in place of 20mm, R530/R550 AAMs, Cyrano radar.

I have previously wondered about a RAN F11F instead of the A-4Gs. Perhaps this could be the basis for it...or perhaps just the standard version would suffice....

It would be cool to have a go at modelling the Super Tiger:

If nothing else, it had one of the oddest missile arrangements:

You are serious? Who was into the Newfie Screech Rum the night before they designed this?

Note the Super Tiger's diverterless "bump" intakes decades before the F-35. They were actually laminated plywood on the prototypes.

Plywood, the original composite material.
